TAR & OILS
Tar, oil and other petroleum products are quikly removed with dry ice blaasting. The pictures below are of a oiler for road construction. This machine had 10 years of oil (tar) that completly covered the entire machine with 1/8 to 1/4 inches of tar. Dry ice blasting removed all the tar without removing any paint. The only thing we did not clean were the hoses, not knowing what condition they were in we did not want to tear them up, we did clean all the fitting for the hoses, so when they need replacing they were very accessable.
